Sculpture 100 x 29 x 22 cm, mixed media. Year 2022 It represents the resilience and strength of women to be reborn after challenges and difficulties of life. Made using beached wood turned into rock, the sculpture is characterized by a structure that lightly overlooks a strip of clear sea that reflects stars of light in a small cave. This image evokes a sense of astonishing beauty and power, symbolizing women's ability to find the light even in the darkest moments and emerge stronger and brighter than ever. The sea, voice of free greatness
It's a canvas cm. 50 x 70, mixed media and resin. Year 2022 Together in front of the sea, we feel small and big at the same time, aware of the our small part in this vast universe. The sea forces us to confront the our humanity, with our emotions and our deepest thoughts. The sea teaches us to be humble in the face of the greatness of nature and at the same time reminds us that we are an integral part of it, that we are all linked by a single energy that passes through us and unites us.
PuzzleMind
Mixed media, format 52 x 68 cm. Year 2021 “PuzzleMente" is a unique work of art that represents the chaos of thoughts that surface in confusing way in the human mind. Its goal is to highlight the complexity of managing such thoughts for each of us. The mirror in the center of the work allows the viewer to reflect and feel an integral part of it, thus underlining the universality of human experience. The photograph has been colored with acrylics and was transformed into a puzzle to symbolize the mind while thoughts they were molded with resin, creating shapes that emerge and break the puzzle. There resin has been colored with a bright but transparent color to represent the way where thoughts can suddenly manifest themselves and envelop us. The meaning of "PuzzleMente" is to accept and face your thoughts, to recognize them as integral part of oneself and to find a balance between chaos and order in one's own mind. The work invites everyone to look inside themselves, to reflect on their emotions and thoughts, and to find beauty even in confusion and disorder. In this spirit of awareness and acceptance, everyone can find their own inner peace and their own mental balance to live in harmony with others. Enough
Canvas cm. 40 x 50 Mixed technique Year 2022 The painting "Born is not enough" is inspired by the poetry of Pablo Neruda which underlines the importance of not limiting oneself to simple birth, but of trying to be reborn every day. THE peach blossoms that are blooming symbolize this concept of rebirth and again start. The moving holographic letters represent communication and connection between people, highlighting the importance of language in our existence. Overall, the framework invites us to reflect on the need to grow, change and constantly reinvent yourself to face life's challenges but also to share the own experiences and to face together the challenges that life places before us, in a continuous process of reinvention and personal and collective growth. Together, always.
Bite the apple
Plywood panel 31 x 46 cm. Mixed technique The work represents New York with its skyscrapers made with sweets, kibbles, glitter, chocolates and epoxy resin. The use of these unusual and colorful materials creates a playful and fantastical atmosphere that conveys the vibrant and creative essence of New York. The work is a tribute to the city and its unique energy, an invitation to explore and enjoy the vibrant experience of the Big Apple. RECYCLING
My paintings are material. The recovery and recycling of materials allow me to develop an ever-evolving experimentation to represent and transform the reality that hurts me. Absolute freedom in the creation of paintings and sculptures to restore dignity to materials that are considered waste and can still trigger emotions.
In our era, it becomes essential not to waste resources in a vision of a circular economy, giving new life to matter to raise awareness of environmental degradation and make people reflect.
I was reborn through my paintings which manage to give me moments of serenity and joy when the people who observe them share emotions. Creativity, imagination and a pinch of madness allow me to create paintings that I hope can arouse curiosity, make people reflect but above all excite.

A little intro
Paola Arrigoni was born in Milan, but currently lives in Sanremo. His paintings are abstract, material, created with the use of acrylic on canvas or plywood sheets.
In some works he uses recycled materials to alleviate his suffering in observing environmental degradation.
His is a search for moral depth lived with profound respect for life and the environment in the hope of transmitting his feelings, thoughts and reflections to spark an interaction with those who look at his works.
